When you have a routine you drummed up yourself without my help or the help of any other person, you feel motivated and in charge.

And this will motivate you immensely.

Once you begin to follow this routine carefully, you will feel like you can do anything and accomplish whatever you damn wish.

You feel empowered.

The truth is that trying to discipline and dedicate yourself to losing weight is a herculean task that one would rather put off until the doctors recommend it to us.

That is why you feel mighty when you take your own initiative to start a weight loss program and stick to it no matter what.

This motivation will not just be about weight loss anymore, it will also become about every other part of your life because your enthusiasm and motivation from what you have accomplished will begin to seep into other areas of your life.

And this is a good thing.

2. It keeps you accountable

Because of your routine, and if you have written it down on a sheet of paper as one of your daily gols:) – which I highly recommend – it keeps you accountable.

Whenever you miss a routine you feel guilty, you see that sheet of paper on your night stand or your fridge taunting you.

And if you should dare to quit, you will feel shitty.

This is being said out of experience.

I have set some gols out for myself and whenever I don’t fulfill my own end of the bargain, I feel a little bit shitty and unhappy with myself.

But if you think or know that a piece of paper cannot make you guilty, then by all means I think you should get an accountability partner.

Someone who will make sure you do what you have to do to lose weight.

If you have the budget for it, you can hire a personal trainer.

Some of those guys are beasts.

They will definitely help with the accountability thing and keep you focused on your gols.

This is meant to be the number one reason but I decided to start with your mentality before we go into the physical stuff.

To lose weight in your stomach, waist, thighs, back, neck, arms, breast, face, chin and any other unforeseen area of your body you wish to lose weight at.

When you start making exercising a daily habit in your life, the probability that you will suffer from any type of heart disease will be super low.

Exercises, especially when done daily improves not just your overall health, it also helps you mental and brain health.

If you are a student or you have a job where you may have to function at a high brain capacity, daily workout is a MUST.

Because when you workout or exercise everyday, your heart pumps blood faster and therefore your brain gets more oxygenated blood and this helps your brain function far better than usual.

Therefore, if you would like to improve your brain capacity, I recommend you start a daily workout routine as this will help you out a lot.

7. You gain discipline

Doing something that is hard everyday, at the same time, in the same manner will undoubtedly need some form of extreme discipline on your part.

Even I have fallen short sometimes and I pick myself up again and continue.

This is mine below and you can use it if you have the time but if you don’t you can shift things around to fit your schedule.

  1. I wake up at 5am
  2. Meditate for twenty minutes because it is simply not enough to exercise the body, you should also exercise the mind and meditation is the way to go.
  3. So some anaerobic exercises like weight lifts, pushups, situps and the likes. This is to increase strength. It is not compulsory for you to do this. If you have the time, this is where you go out running.
  4. Rub for at least thirty minutes if you are just starting out. If you have more time you can increase the time to one hour.
  5. Then you are ready for the day.
  6. Go out and conquer.

Because I work from home, I usually have enough time to go out in the evening, from 5pm to 7pm to play soccer.

I love soccer.

But I’m guessing you may not have that kind of time on your hans because of work and other responsibilities you may have.

That is why you should make it a point to wake up as early as you can and get this out of the way by running for about thirty minutes everyday to give you the adrenaline boost you need to kick that day’s ass.
